Technician Training   

                 
Training is one of the most important elements of any pesticide safety program.  The Colorado Department of Agriculture requires that all unlicensed technicians who work for Commercial/Limited Commercial/Public Pesticide Applicators be verifiably trained.

These training requirements are outlined in the Rules and Regulations of the Pesticide Applicators' Act. Technicians that must be trained include both new and experienced technicians, although the amount of training differs for the two groups.

Mountain West PEST technician training classes are designed to meet CDA’s classroom instruction requirements – new employee technician training (minimum of 12 hours) or experienced employee technician training (minimum of 4 hours).
