​​​Course Details

The registration fee provides each attendee with the educational program, an electronic version of PowerPoint presentations, course manuals, laboratory sessions and related course materials, other supplies and daily refreshment breaks.  Instructors will be available throughout the Short Course. 

Lodging at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch is not included in the registration fee.  Participants are responsible for their own lodging reservations and payment.  If you are tax exempt, please provide a copy of your tax number at the time of registration.  Breakfast is included with lodging at Sylvan Dale.

Once payment is received, confirmation will be mailed or e-mailed within 7 days.  Because of the popularity of earlier Short Courses, we suggest you wait for the confirmation letter before making any travel arrangements.  
Agenda
The Organizing Committee builds the final agenda based on a pre-course survey of the registered participants to  assess specific areas of participant interest.  The pre-course survey will not be sent to participants until they have completed the registration process.  This year emphasis will be placed the impact of weeds on pollinator and wildlife habitat.

Short Course Policies

Enrollment is limited (25 participants) and will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Registration requests received after the first 25 will be placed on a waiting list.

Individuals who are not able to enroll in 2024 Short Course will be placed on a waiting list and will be given first priority for enrollment in the 2025 Short Course.  

In the event of insufficient enrollment, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to cancel the course and provide a full refund to registrants.

Register early as spaces in this course fills quickly!  All registration cancellations will be subject to the following limitations:

  • Short course registration cancellations received in writing by April 8, 2024 , will be refunded less a $50 service fee.  No course refunds will be made after April 15, but paid no-shows will receive all course materials.
  •  Substitutions can be made at any time (less a $25.00 service fee), preferably with advance notice.

A disability or dietary restriction will be accommodated to the extent possible if requested prior to the Short Course.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reorder sessions or substitute a session and to change instructors.  Every effort will be made to notify participants of any changes or cancellations.
